Respite
Respite
Respite – Unlicensed, 15 Minutes
This service is provided in segments of 16 hours or less in a 24-hour period in individuals‘ private homes. There is no requirement for the regular caregiver to be absent from the setting in which respite is provided. The regular caregiver may be present in the setting in which the respite is provided.
Respite – In-Home, 24 Hours
This service is provided in segments of day units (each day unit comprises a period of time that is more than 16 hours and up to 24 hours in length). This service is provided in the private homes of individuals with intellectual disAbilities. The regular caregiver may be present in the setting in which the respite is provided. This service may be provided by a family member or friend who meets the requirements for employment at Kindred Hearts.
